Longtime Bayside business Kelly’s Car Service has merged with Long Island-based Ollie’s Cab Service, according to a source familiar with the transaction.

The sale officially took place on Feb. 14, Kelly’s dispatcher James Gullotti told QNS. The century-old company still operates under the Kelly’s name and services the northeast Queens area.

Kelly’s Car Service vacated its office space at 212-35 42nd Ave., next to the Bayside LIRR station, earlier this year. The transportation company has since relocated to the Little Neck Long Island Rail Road train station at Little Neck Parkway and 39th Road, where they occupy office space and store their transportation vehicles.

Each phone number associated with Kelly’s was not in service during the transition from Bayside to Little Neck. Service at the numbers has since been restored.

Kelly’s Car Service was established in 1914 and offers a 24-hour transportation services to the community via 14-passenger vans, town cars, minivans and other vehicles. The company operated from its location at the Bayside Long Island Rail Road station since its inception.

QNS directed multiple inquiries about the merger to Ollie’s Cab Service, which remained unanswered as of press time.
