Cops have description of possible suspect in a fatal stabbing on a south Queens street

Police are continuing to investigate a stabbing in St. Albans on Thursday morning that left one man dead.

At 9:36 a.m. on June 28, authorities said, members of the 113th Precinct responded to a 911 call regarding a unconscious male at a home on 116th Avenue near 201st Street.

Upon their arrival, law enforcement sources said, they found Mario Cesar, 58, who resides at the location, unconscious and unresponsive with multiple stab wounds to the body.

Paramedics transported Cesar to Long Island Jewish Valley Stream Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities have a description of a possible suspect who was seen fleeing the scene: a black man with a slim build, standing approximately 6 feet tall. He was last observed wearing a black jacket and black pants.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
