Police need the public’s help in finding two men who recently robbed a pedestrian on the streets of Corona.
Law enforcement sources said the incident occurred at 4:20 a.m. on Aug. 19 in front of a home on 102nd Street near Lewis Avenue.
According to police, a 42-year-old man walking home through the area was approached from behind by two male suspects. They then grabbed hold of him, removed money from his pockets and fled the scene in an unknown direction.
Officers from the 110th Precinct responded to the incident; the victim was not injured.
On Aug. 23, the precinct released on its Twitter account images of the suspected robbers. Anyone with information regarding there whereabouts should call the 110th Precinct Detective Squad at 718-476-9317; all calls are kept confidential.
