Attackers slash man in the back during brutal beating in Long Island City: cops

Cops are looking for a group of men who sliced a man on a Long Island City street last week.

According to police, at 3:42 a.m. on Oct. 7, a 30-year-old man was approached by four unidentified men on 33rd Street. One of the men, described as wearing a white shirt, proceeded to punch the victim.

Law enforcement sources said the group then continued to assault the victim, with one of the perpetrators slashing the man in the back with an unknown sharp object. The suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Officers from the 108th Precinct and EMS responded to the scene. Paramedics rushed the victim to Elmhurst Hospital, where he is in stable condition.
