Two individuals were taken in custody following the stabbing of a 17-year-old boy outside of an Elmhurst school Thursday morning.
Authorities said the victim was knifed in the chest Nov. 8 just before 12 p.m. across the street from the Civic Leadership Academy, located at 45-10 94th St.
Officers from the 110th Precinct and EMS units responded to the scene and paramedics rushed the teenager to Elmhurst Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police recovered a knife at the scene after the attack. Two people, including another 17-year-old boy, were taken into custody a short time later.
Police said the motive for the attack remains unknown. Law enforcement sources did not disclose whether the suspects attended the school.
The investigation was ongoing.
