Cops are looking for a man who stole a woman’s car while she was asleep in the backseat in South Ozone Park.
According to police, at 5:30 a.m. on Jan. 1, a 30-year-old woman was sleeping in the back seat of her car near Lefferts Boulevard and 111th Avenue when an unknown man entered the vehicle and began to drive.
The woman woke up, and the suspect told her that his boss told him to drive her home. The suspect proceeded to punch the victim in the face and continued to drive.
Following the altercation, the suspect eventually pulled over and let the victim out of her car. The suspect proceeded to drive another five minutes before abandoning the car at 96th Street and 103rd Avenue.
