Police are searching for the creep who groped a woman as she was walking in Astoria on Saturday, Sept. 5.
Authorities say a man approached the woman from behind as she was walking on Steinway Street at approximately 7:05 p.m. and began to harass her. The woman began recording the man, who police say is between 30 and 35 years, is approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, sports a high and tight hair style with a short ponytail in the back.
The man responded by grabbing the woman’s breasts, causing her to scream, according to authorities. The man then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
Police released video of the suspect on Sunday, Sept. 6.
The man was last seen wearing a beige button down shirt, dark trousers, black sneakers and a brown leather satchel.
