An off-duty NYPD school safety officer was arrested in northeast Queens after a domestic dispute on Wednesday, Sept. 9.
Christopher Carson was arrested within the confines of the 105th Precinct around 2:30 a.m., after getting into an argument with a member of his family, police said. During the argument, Carson, 42, damaged property in the home where the argument happened, according to the NYPD.
Carson, who has been with the NYPD’s school safety division since 2015, was charged with criminal mischief, according to the authorities.
The officer was suspended without pay following his arrest, according to police sources.
