A.J. Letizio Sales & Marketing Inc., a family-owned sales and marketing agency serving the food and non-foods products industry, celebrated their new office opening in Maspeth on Thursday, Sept. 30.
In celebration of the new office space, which is located at 73-11 Grand Ave., the owners welcomed about 50 guests for a ribbon-cutting and social event.

Al Letizio Jr., president and chief executive officer of A.J. Letizio, said they were glad to be in the metro area in New York. He said he felt the enthusiasm that his family felt when they first came by boat to New York as immigrants from Italy about 120 years ago.
“This is just a great evening and we want to thank all of you who have come out to spend some time with us to mark this moment as we open up our new facility,” Letizio Jr. said.

Letizio Jr. spoke about the family business and their logo, which represents “the dawn of the new day.”
“No matter what happened the day before, every day the sun rises again and you get a chance to start fresh and new,” Letizio Jr. said. “So here we are 34 years into our venture and we’re committed to making sure every day with what we do is a dawn of a new day.”
