The weather looks gorgeous this weekend, so get out of your pajamas and take part in some of the fun that’s going on in Queens.

On Friday, throw on some headphones and dance the night away at a Rockaway Beach silent disco. Enjoy a free screening of “Moana” in Jackson Heights on Saturday. On Sunday, Flushing Town Hall presents Mini-Global Mashup: Tibet Meets Colombia.

GET TESTED AND VACCINATED

Before doing anything in person, get tested for COVID-19 and get vaccinated and boosted! Also, don’t forget to wear your mask indoors and socially distance wherever possible.

FRIDAY, JUNE 10

Silent Disco (Rockaway Beach): Get ready to dance the night away at this silent disco at Rockaway Beach. Each person will wear their own headphones while a DJ plays different genres of music including pop, hip-hop and dance. SATURDAY, JUNE 11

Rock Stock (Rockaway Beach): Come to the beach for the 16th Annual Rock Stock Festival, which includes surf contests, skateboard demos, vendors and live music. Beach 90th Street in Rockaway Beach off Shorefront Parkway.  nycgovparks.org. Free. 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., June 11.

Queensboro Dance Festival Pop-Up (Windmuller Park): For this pop-up event in Sunnyside, enjoy performances by Belamovado, Greek American Folklore Society, Kofago Dance Ensemble, Manhatitlan, Na Pua Mai Ka Lani Nuioka, Robert Mark Dance and Sheep Meadow Dance Theatre. Movies Under the Stars: “Moana”: (Playground Ninety): Grab a blanket or chair and enjoy this free screening of the animated favorite “Moana.” This story follows the titular character who has a deep connection to the ocean and convinces the mighty demigod Maui to join a mission to save her people and find her identity. Mini-Global Mashup: Tibet Meets Colombia (Flushing Town Hall): Enjoy performances by Tibetan singer Yungchen Lhamo and Colombian artist Martín Vejarano, accompanied by guitarist Jorge Iván “Tito” Duarte.
