The NYPD released video surveillance that shows an alleged perpetrator behind a bank robbery on Queens Boulevard in Sunnyside last month.
The robbery went down just before 5 p.m. on Friday, June 24, when the suspect entered the Capital One Bank branch located at 40-20 Queens Blvd.
The man approached a teller and passed a note demanding cash. The teller complied, passing the suspect $100, which he took before taking off on foot eastbound on Queens Boulevard, authorities said, adding that there were no reports of any injuries as a result of the incident.
Police from the 108th Precinct in Long Island City are looking for the suspect, who has dark hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing a blue face mask and a dark hooded sweatshirt with white lettering across the chest, dark sweatpants and dark sneakers.
