NYPD seeks two behind assault, robbery of 81-year-old man in Jackson Heights

The NYPD is searching for the two men who robbed an 81-year-old man in Jackson Heights on Friday, Sept. 23. 

At approximately 5:55 a.m., in front of 70-02 34 Ave., the victim was approached by two unidentified individuals who exited a red SUV. According to NYPD, they proceeded to punch and knee the victim before taking his messenger bag, cellphone and $15. 

The victim was transported to Elmhurst Hospital with broken ribs, lacerations and bruising. The perpetrators fled the scene in the red SUV in an unknown direction.
