Woman groped on E train in Court Square during morning rush last week: NYPD

A 25-year-old woman was groped on board an E train in Court Square last Thursday, Sept. 1.

Police from the 108th Precinct in Long Island City and Transit District 20 are looking for the unidentified man who approached the victim at around 8 a.m. as the southbound E train was pulling into the Court Square subway station.

The suspect grabbed the victim multiple times in her private areas before bolting onto the platform and running off in an unknown direction, police said.

The NYPD released a surveillance photo of the suspect on Monday and described him as having a mild complexion and short dark hair. He was wearing a multicolored short-sleeved shirt and blue jeans.
