Woman sought in random attack inside Jamaica Dunkin’: NYPD

Police from the 103rd Precinct in Jamaica are on the lookout for a woman who allegedly smashed a chair over a 69-year-old customer’s head inside a Dunkin’ Donuts located at 92-17 Parsons Blvd. near Archer Avenue on the morning of Sunday, Sept. 25.

The unprovoked attack happened at 9:15 a.m. when the suspect picked up a chair and struck the woman over her head, breaking the chair in the process, police said. The assailant ran off in an unknown direction and the victim sustained pain to her head and torso.

EMS responded to the scene and transported the woman to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in stable condition.

The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect on Oct. 7 and described her as having a dark complexion. She is approximately 5 feet tall and has short hair. She was last seen wearing a dark T-shirt with “Celestial” in white lettering across the chest over a graphic, dark sweatpants with white stripes down the leg and gray and white footwear. She was clutching a pair of white sneakers.
