Police searching for duo behind Ridgewood robbery

Police from the NYPD’s 104th Precinct are searching for two suspects wanted in connection with a Dec. 27 robbery in Ridgewood.

Officers responded to a call regarding a robbery in front 1818 Greene Ave. at approximately 3:15 a.m. on Dec. 27. Upon their arrival, officers found a 23-year-old man who said that the two suspects approached him and demanded “property.”

One of the suspects then punched the victim in the face and the duo fled the scene on foot toward Seneca Avenue, police said.

The victim refused medical attention at the scene.

Police said no arrests have been made and an investigation into the robbery is ongoing.
