A 35-year-old woman was struck by a hit-and-run driver near the Clearview Expressway in Bayside last week, according to authorities.

Police from the 111th Precinct in Bayside are looking for the motorist who sped away from the scene of the collision that left the victim injured and lying on the roadway at around 6 a.m. on Nov. 14.

EMS responded and rushed the woman to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition, police said.

A preliminary investigation determined that the woman was crossing the street at the southbound Clearview Expressway Service Road at 32nd Avenue, just south of the Bayside Fields, when she was struck by an SUV in the marked crosswalk at the intersection. The vehicle fled the scene prior to police officers’ arrival and was last seen driving southbound on the Clearview Expressway Service Road toward Northern Boulevard.

The NYPD released a surveillance image of the vehicle on Nov. 19 and described it as a white four-door SUV.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
