Mr. Met and Amazin’ Mets Foundation President and Mets co-owner Alex Cohen joined team personnel and volunteers for New York Cares in collecting the new or gently used coats that were donated. The coats will be given to those in need to help keep them warm during the winter months.

Those who donated the coats also received vouchers redeemable for two tickets to any select Mets home game in 2024 (excluding Opening Day and the Subway Series).

During the coat drive, the Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan rolled up with Santa Claus. Kids were able to meet Santa and get their picture taken with him. The truck, which was decorated with holiday lights, also gave out free cans of Coke Zero Sugar.
