The New Year celebrations are fast approaching. If you haven’t decided how you’re spending the night, it’s not too late to find an event to attend.
While some events have sold out, there are still a range of both swanky and intimate parties to welcome in 2024. If you want to skip the city, and stay in Queens, here are some New Year’s parties to consider.
Donovan’s Pub NYE Party
Woodside’s landmarked Irish pub, known for its award-winning burgers, is offering an intimate New Year’s Eve party. The bar/restaurant is hosting live music by The Flynn’s band inside its cozy venue that features a fireplace. The menu that night will include a three-course meal, open bar and champagne toast. Reservations can be made over the phone.
Enchanted Wonderland at Astoria World Manor
The swanky banquet hall on Astoria Boulevard is offering a New Year’s Eve celebration with foodies in mind. The night will start with a cocktail hour that includes a taco station and a Korean barbecue station, as well as passed hors d’oeuvres. A ticket also includes a three-course seating dinner that includes dessert.
Kids of all ages are welcome to attend. There will also be an optional photo package and photobooth on site to commemorate the night.
Tickets start at $60 for kids and go up to $120 for adults.
Fifth Hammer Brewery
If you’re looking for a more low key and unique way to ring in the new year, check out Fifth Hammer Brewery in Long Island City. The brewery will have live music jams provided by Uncle Brother and the Homebrewsicians beginning at 9 p.m.
The staff will be serving one-of-a-kind food items, such as complimentary toast and various jams to slather on. No reservation is required for the first come first serve event that will end at 1:30 a.m.
Polish Style Rooftop Celebration
Terrace on the Park in Corona is hosting a Polish-style New Year’s Eve bash at its penthouse venue, known for its panoramic views. The party will include a live Times Square simulcast of the festivities.
The cocktail hour will feature a carving station and raw bar, followed by a sit-down dinner with dessert. Tickets also include a top shelf open bar. Dance the night away alongside a live DJ who will be spinning tunes until 2 a.m.
Tickets start at $213 for the 21+ event.
CODE in Astoria
This popular club on Steinway Street in Astoria offers bottle service and VIP sections year-round. But on New Year’s Eve, the club will be passing around hors d’oeuvres and offering an open bar until the clock strikes midnight. The event will also include a complimentary champagne toast.
Tickets start at $65 for the 21+ event.
New Years Eve Gala at Vivo
Vivo in Bayside, near the Clearview golf course, is offering a pre-fixe menu that includes an appetizer, main course and two desserts. The restaurant’s kitchen is known for locally inspired and seasonal dishes.
The restaurant is also providing a champagne toast at midnight and a premium open bar for the entire evening. DJ Lou Smith will be spinning all night at the upscale venue.
Tickets start at $155, not including staff gratuity and taxes.
Glitz and Glamour Affair at Amazura
For a black and white tie ball, ring in the new year at the Amazura Ballroom in Jamaica which has been hosting events for over 30 years. The venue will have live music by Road International, Steelie Bashment, DJ Polish and Fatta Diamond. Dinner and a champagne toast at midnight will also be provided.
You can also reserve a cabana and bottle service package. Tickets start at $98 for regular admission.
Doha Bar Lounge
This Latin fusion restaurant and nightclub in Long Island City is offering free admission to its New Year’s Eve party. The 21+ event at Doha will feature live music by Bash, Blaze, Gordo, Steve Nieves & Makilo. The establishment is also known for its inventive tropical cocktails.
The venue is selling tickets that feature an open bar from 9 p.m. to midnight. The tickets cost $108.
