The NYC Small Business Services, in collaboration with Jobs NYC, is set to host a health care and social services job fair at the Queens Career Center, located on the second floor of 168-25 Jamaica Ave. in Jamaica, on Mar. 28.

Although pre-registration for the event has closed, hopeful candidates are encouraged to take advantage of the walk-in window from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This job fair aims to connect individuals directly with employers in the health care and social services sectors, offering a chance for on-the-spot interviews.

The job fair will offer a diverse array of positions, including cooks, residential aide supervisors, security guards, operations aides, counselors and licensed social workers.

Job seekers are advised to come prepared with a photo ID, a copy of their resume and a pen, ready to meet potential employers and explore various job opportunities.

Launched in 2020, Jobs NYC offers a comprehensive range of free services designed to assist New York City residents in securing employment. These services include resume workshops, mock interviews, internships, GED classes, college credit programs and ESL training for non-English speakers. The platform also connects job seekers with entry-level positions across New York City, supporting individuals in their journey towards meaningful employment.
