Decision On Flushing Hospital Set For March 2

A critical meeting of Flushing Hospital’s Board of Trustees is expected to select Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and its partner, Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan, to manage the financially-troubled institution when it meets on March 2.
Jamaica and Lenox Hill reportedly has the support of medical staff, union and most board members. The decision became almost a certainty last week when New York Hospital Queens pulled out its plan to bail out Flushing Hospital.
