P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center is about to make some noise.
From noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 2, P.S. 1 kicks off a series of events and exhibitions on sound, including Volume: Bed of Sound; Max Neuhaus: Drawings; and the center's annual DJ series, Warm Up 2000. Although by now a mainstay of contemporary art, this multi-media series builds on Neuhaus' groundbreaking work started in the early 1960s.
