JAMAICA – A man was arrested after allegedly stabbing three men in a dispute early Saturday morning at a Jamaica club, said Detective Carolyn Chew, a Police Department spokeswoman.
Ramon Alberto, 22, of 90-37 143 St. was charged with assault after allegedly stabbing the three men, who were not identified, outside Club Bombalo at about 3:15 a.m., Chew said. All four men were taken to Mary Immaculate Hospital in stable condition.
Woman stabs husband in dispute at home: Cops
JAMAICA — A 56-year-old man was stabbed several times in the stomach at about 10:20 p.m. last Wednesday after a dispute with his wife, Dhanasnarie Harpargas, 47, police said.
The man was taken to Mary Immaculate Hospital in serious condition, said Det. Madelyne Galindo, a Police Department spokeswoman. She said the couple lived at 89-19 171st St.
Harpargas was charged with assault and possession of a weapon, Galindo said.
Cash, cigarettes stolen from Queens Blvd. stand
KEW GARDENS — A burglar or burglars broke into the AP Newsstand at 101-22 Queens Blvd. at about 3 a.m. last Thursday, police said.
Officers responding to a call found the gate tampered with, said Det. Madelyne Galindo, a Police Department spokeswoman. She said $1,500 and 30 cartons of cigarettes were stolen.
Police were investigating.
Richmond Hill man, 21, charged in deli robberies
RICHMOND HILL – A man was arrested Friday afternoon in connection with two robberies at the same location in December, said Detective Carolyn Chew, a Police Department spokeswoman.
Jason Musmacher, 21, of 75-03 95th Ave. was charged with robbing Picolla Roma Deli at 88-05 82nd Ave. on Dec. 16 and again on Dec. 20 while displaying a handgun, Chew said. Musmacher allegedly removed an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene on both occasions, Chew said. Additional charges were pending, she said.
South Jamaica man arrested in shooting
SOUTH JAMAICA – A man who allegedly shot a neighbor in a dispute on Jan. 17 was arrested at about 1 a.m. Saturday, said Detective Carolyn Chew, a Police Department spokeswoman.
Scott Brownlow, 23, of 177-41 106th Rd., was charged with assault after allegedly shooting the man at 177-22 106th Rd., Chew said. The victim, who was not identified, was taken to Mary Immaculate Hospital in stable condition at the time of the shooting, Chew said.
Woman shot in finger in Corona robbery
CORONA — A 25-year-old woman was shot in her left pinkie by an unidentified man at about 2 a.m. last Thursday, police said.
The victim, who was taken to Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition, was walking on National Street and 42nd Avenue when the man approached her demanding money, said Det. Madelyne Galindo, a Police Department spokeswoman. She said the man fired the gun, hitting the woman in the finger.
Police were investigating.
Jackson Heights man jumps in front of train: Cops
ELMHURST — A 49-year-old Jackson Heights man was in stable condition after leaping in front of a subway train Monday night, police said.
Police spokeswoman Carmen Melendez said the man jumped in front of a Manhattan-bound No. 7 train at 90th Street and Elmhurst Avenue about 11:10 p.m. He was taken to Elmhurst Hospital, she said.
