The MidQueens-Fresh Meadows Youth Alliance is holding registration for its fall and winter activities for boys and girls. Registration will take place on Fridays, Sept. 7 and 14, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturdays, Sept. 8 and 15, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at PS 188 (entrance on Kingsbury Ave., one block north of Union Turnpike and one block east of Bell Boulevard).
The basketball program includes instructional play for boys and girls ages 5 to 8, all girls instruction for ages 8 to 10, league play for boys and girls ages 9 through high school senior and all girls league option for ages 10 through 16.
The bowling program is open to boys and girls ages 5 through high school senior, while the Youth Center is open to teens Fridays from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at PS 26.
The MQFM soccer program is open to girls ages 10 to 14 in the fall and for girls ages 9 to 12 in the winter.
