Outback Steakhouse 11, York Electric 11. Parents and spectators witnessed the most exciting game of the year as two evenly matched teams battled back and forth to a six-inning draw. Outback Steakhouse jumped out to an early five-run lead on RBI hits by Anthony Panepinto, Nick Loccisano and Jason Andrele. Loccisano held York Electric scoreless for the first three innings by allowing no hits and striking out nine. In the fourth inning, York Electric mounted a comeback when Greg Insana singled, John Prudente doubled and Steven Demaio hit a three-run homer. York Electric took an 8-5 lead in the fifth inning when Esteban Dilones tripled, Albie Miro singled after two walks and Prudente hit a grand-slam home run. In the sixth inning, Outback regained the lead 11-8 by scoring six runs on Loccisano’s grand-slam home run. York Electric tied the game with three runs in the bottom half of the sixth inning. With the bases loaded, the game ended with an unassisted double play when third baseman Anthony Panepinto caught a line drive and stepped on third base to end the game at an 11-11 tie.
Internet Business Group 8, Monahan & Fitzgerald 6. The Internet Business Group won 8-6 behind the strong pitching of Julian Bilodeau and Jesse Pau. Michael Nittolo had a couple of hits, including a well-struck triple. Jesse Pau backed his pitching effort with two home runs, including a grand slam in the second inning, scoring Connor Leavens, Julien Amorelli and Thomas Dougherty. Monahan and Fitzgerald made a last-inning charge, scoring three times in the bottom of the sixth. John Martinez led the hit attack for Monahan.
Applebee’s 9, Mardene Construction 3. Applebee’s got great performances from Michael Tesoriero, who pitched three great innings, and timely hitting from Trevor Wilson, who had a double in the victory. For Mardene, Perry Haskowitz went 2-for-2 with a double and a single, while Joe Bello pitched three strong innings in the game.

Valle Tile 18, Club Care 6. James Kaso led the charge for Valle Tile’s unrelenting attack. James went 4-for-4 with a single, two doubles and a triple, scoring four runs: one for each time he reached base. Matt Scherl and Mike DiNoto both scored three runs for Valle Tile.
Club Care 9, Pier 25A 8. Club Care’s David Underweiser pitched strong innings on the mound to help secure a close-game victory.
Corona Park Pork Store 17, Hi-Tech Metals 12. In a slugfest that went into extra innings, Corona Park’s Derek LaMacchia provided the power at the plate, going 4-for-5 on the day, belting a grand-slam homer, a double and two singles en route to a seven-RBI day. Teammate GianCarlo Santillo went 5-for-5. Corona’s Luis Ramirez singled and scored two runs while teammate Carlo Albaracin singled and drove in a run. Jorge Ynoa went 4-for-4 with a homer, a double and two singles for Hi-Tech, and teammate Leo Nin batted was 3-for-4.
Corona Park Pork Store 4, Mardene Construction 3. Finding themselves in another extra inning thriller, Corona Park held its composure and edged a strong Mardene nine.
Joey Marden hit a solo homer, his third of the season, in the top of the seventh to put Mardene ahead. “A never say die” Corona Park Pork Store rallied in the bottom of the seventh for the walk-off, come-from-behind victory.
George Theodoropoulos had two hits, scored two runs and batted in two for the victorious Pork Store Corona boys.
Bourbon Street 8, Bell Bay Florist 5. Bell Bay Florist got good games from Chris Goger, who doubled and stole a base, and from Andrew Havelin, who scored a run and hit 2-for-3 on the day. Bourbon Street’s Nicky Copelli went four strong innings on the mound, and teammate Derek Errigo went 3-for-3, scoring two runs to help bring home the victory.
Mardene Construction 3, Hi-Tech Metals 2. Great all-around play from Anthony Scifo, who hit 2-for-3 and drove in both runs for Hi-Tech, couldn’t overcome two homers by Mardene’s 12-year-olds.
Hi-Tech’s Jorge Ynoa showed his pitching skills by going four innings and fanning eight batters. For Mardene, it was Joey Marden’s solo homer in the first, and teammate John Apostolo’s homer in the fifth that made the difference.
Pier 25A 7, Bourbon Street 3. Sal Ambrosino was the hitting star and was speedy on the bases with two runs scored, Peter Levantis handled all his chances in the field and John Wynne also showed his skill with the bat. For Bourbon Street, Nicky Capelli continued to lead his team in hitting with two doubles and also pitching two innings of shutout ball.
Party City 12, Pacific Lawn Sprinklers 7. Ricky Sanchez’s three hits and Tim Keaney’s three great defensive plays led P.C. to the win. Luke Tinari got the win, pitching three strong innings. Dante Randazzo had three hits for Pacific.
Party City 4, Club Care 3. Michael Gregory and Cal Sternick combined to pitch a brilliant game. Gregory also stroked two doubles to streak P.C. to the win. Jonathan Cedeno had a strong effort on the mound for Club Care
Party City 9, Bell Bay Florist 5. Alex Chateau, Joe Deleon, Mike Galati and Anthony Romanelli each had multiple hit games to power P.C. to the win. Rob Romano had a solid game for Bell Bay.
