MANHASSET — A 2-year-old Queens boy was in critical condition at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset Friday after his babysitter allegedly shook him, police told The New York Post.

Nancy Cardenas, 38, of Elmont, L.I. was arrested on charges of assault, The Post reported. Police did not release the name of the boy or his parents, nor did they say where in Queens the family was from.
