The Queens Courier Announces Kick-Off Of Annual Food Drive

We here at The Queens Courier are happy to announce that this holiday season, we will be coordinating a borough-wide food drive in conjunction with Queens County Savings Bank (QCSB). Bring any canned or non-perishable goods to your local QCSB from November 24 to December 20 and drop them in the Queens Courier/Queens County Savings Bank food drive box. All donations will be given to Food Bank New York City (see adjacent story) to be given out at their Queens soup kitchens.
"We are thrilled to be able to give back to the community in this way during the holidays," said Schneps Communications President Victoria Schneps. "Our staff gives so much of their time and effort to so many causes over the course of the year, but its still nice to be able to do something together as an organization and a family, because that is how we consider ourselves."
