Sikiric, a senior forward from Maspeth, led the Knights to a school record 22 wins, a second NYCAC tournament title and a third NCAA appearance in five years. The former Archbishop Molloy standout set a single season school record with 611 points and ended his career at Queens fourth on the all-time scoring list with 1,760 points.Sikiric was also named to the all-NYCAC first team and the NYCAC tournament MVP this year.Holder also earned all-NYCAC first team honors, led the conference in rebounding (11.9) and was second in scoring (19.7). The Uniondale, L.I. native finished her career with 1,745 points and 1,096 rebounds – the most by any player in Queens history at the Division II level.Also honored by the Met Writers are St. John's women's basketball players Kia Wright and Angela Clark. Wright was named to the Division I First Team while Clark earned second team honors.A Red Storm rookie, Wright was named an All-Big East second team selection after leading St. John's and was third in the conference, averaging 14.7 points per game and added 3.8 assists per game. The University of Connecticut transfer also led the team in three-point percentage and free throw percentage as St. John's got off to its best start in program history and its best finish in 16 years.Clark led St. John's and was third in the Big East with 8.4 rebounds per game and was second in scoring, averaging 11.6 points per game.
