Yankees president Randy Levine is again going to bat for the new Yankee Stadium plan, this time touting its benefits to the New Bronx Chamber of Commerce.
On Monday, January 30, Levine will address the officers and members of the chamber at the Hutchinson Metro Center, detailing the economic benefits of the new development plan for businesses in the borough. Levine is slated to hold a noon press conference prior to the speaking engagement in the conference room of the 1200 Waters Place building complex, and then will present a presentation to the chamber during a luncheon in the auditorium.
The luncheon, sponsored by Hudson Valley Bank, is open to members of the business community. Lunch for chamber members is $20 and for members of the business community who are not members of the chamber, the cost is $30. The New Bronx Chamber of Commerce has asked those who would like to attend to RSVP by Friday, January 27 by calling the chamber at (718) 328-0100.
Lenny Caro, vice president of the chamber, said Levine and the Yankees reached out to the chamber.
