The Beth-El Jewish Center of Flatbush is initiating a new Shabbos morning learning program.
The congregation's rabbi, Rabbi Pinchas N. Pearl, will now conduct a class in the “Mishna B'reura” – the classic work of Jewish law written by the Chofetz Chaim – every Shabbos morning at 8 a.m. in the synagogue's daily chapel, 1981 Homecrest Avenue at Avenue T.
The class will cover various sections of the “Mishna B'reura,” beginning with Hilchos Kiddush, the laws of Kiddush.
Participants will have a stimulating way of beginning their Shabbos morning as they delve into the cool waters of Torah study. Coffee and cake is offered to all participants.
Beth-El Jewish Center is an Orthodox congregation, which welcomes all Jews.
