Play World Cup Fever Contest

As World Cup play continues this week, The Queens Courier wants its readers to feel like they are in the middle of all the action. Play our contest – World Cup Fever.
The tournament began with 32 teams from countries all over the world divided into eight four-team groups. Half of them advance into the second round after three opening-round matches. It then becomes an elimination format, narrowing the field down from 16 to eight and then to four and two, with the survivors battling it out for the World Cup title on July 9th.
The reader who accurately predicts the final four teams that will compete for the two berths in the title match will win four tickets to a New York Mets game.
