The Bellerose Civic Association featured a guest speaker from Lone Star Home Heating Inc. - Owner/President John LaCertosa on September 12. LaCertosa spoke about the home heating industry and common problems that people experience.
“People have had problems accessing the heating business, and they have trouble getting a service plan,” LaCertosa said. “When they do, they often have to wait 2-3 days to have someone come to their house.”
Lone Star, however, provides guaranteed 24-hour-service to its members, and even provides a supplemental program to people who are currently under contract with another company.
“We have a new program called the supplemental program with reserved activation,” LaCertosa said.
“If you currently have a service plan that you can't get out of and they say you have to wait a few days, you can call us and we'll show up the same day.”
Lone Star also guarantees the lowest prices LaCertosa maintains, saying that if you can find a better deal, he will give you his Utility Alternative Gas Heating Plan for two-full-years free.
LaCertosa, who founded Lone Star Home Heating Inc. in 1992, said that he was happy with the audience at the Bellerose Civic Center.
“We've gotten some calls, and people seemed to be attentive and they asked questions at the end,” he said. “They were very receptive.”
