The Little Neck Douglaston Lions Club held their 54th annual dinner dance on Sunday, November 19 for the benefit of the Seeing Eye Dog Foundation and other local charities, at the New Hyde Park Inn. Honored were charter member and Lifetime Service Award winner Dr. Herman Belkin, Lion of the Year Fern Rashkover, and Community Service awardees Ralph and Barbara Barba. Proclamations were presented by Senator Frank Padavan and City Councilmember David Weprin, in front of a crowd of over 100.
