Vanity Pups celebrates first anniversary

Vanity Pups, a unique, upscale puppy nursery in Bayside is the place to go.
Celebrating its first anniversary, Vanity Pups offers all types of dogs, from &#8220Purebreds to ‘poos and hybrids too,” according to owner Michael Berger.
&#8220We have the designer breeds everyone wants,” he continued. &#8220We specialize in teacup and toy breeds. And for asthmatics, we have puppies with hair - that don't shed.”
In order to celebrate their first year in business, Vanity Pups is offering $100 off the purchase of any puppy.
With tons of accessories, including plush beds, jewelry, apparel, treats, bags and more, Berger said he now does grooming, and will soon unveil a pet portrait studio.
&#8220We don't consider ourselves a pet store,” said Berger. &#8220We let you come look at the puppy with no pressure.”
Vanity Pups is located at 38-13 Bell Boulevard in Bayside.
They are open Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 8 p.m.; Sunday, noon to 6 p.m.; and Monday noon to 6 p.m. (by appointment).
