LI man gets life sentence for robbery death of ex-boss

Jerome Fletcher, 30, of Farmingdale, L.I., was accused of plotting and serving as the getaway driver in the robbery and murder of Bruce Levy, the 52-year-old co-owner of the Red Cap Valet dry cleaning plant in Long Island City, prosecutors said.

Four others were arrested and charged as participants in the crime, the DA said.

Fletcher was found guilty in November after a two-week jury trial of murder, robbery, criminal possession of a weapon and evidence tampering.
