Police responded to a report of shots fired at 105-19 177th Street on July 28.
Upon arrival they determined that a 25-year-old man was part of a group of unidentified males that were involved in a dispute which escalated. Shots were fired and the victim received a gun shot wound to the chest.
The victim was taken to Mary Immaculate Hospital in critical condition and later died.
There have been no arrests made and an investigation is ongoing.
