BB Gun Shooting

Police in the 109th Precinct have another BB-gun shooting on their hands.
At about 10 p.m. on Sunday, October 14, an unidentified white male was struck near the intersection of 146th Street and 27th Avenue in Flushing. Cops say that the victim did not realize that he had been shot until he was in the shower at home.
The victim went to Flushing Hospital Medical Center at 45-00 Parsons Boulevard, where he notified police. The man was treated and released.
Cops are not sure whether this shooting incident, which was instigated by what the victim described as “four white males in a car,” is directly related to six recent BB-gun shootings in the North Flushing-Whitestone area in recent weeks. They ask anyone who sees anyone with any kind of gun - even a “paint ball gun,” to call 9-1-1, or the Crime Stoppers Hot Line at 800-577-TIPS (8477) to report such incidents anonymously.
