Police are searching for the man wanted in connection with a string of bank robberies.
Beginning in January of this year, the suspect, described as 6”, 160 pounds, between 30 and 40 years old, held up seven banks.
On January 2, he robbed a Washington Mutual at 106-11 71st Avenue; just six days later, he held up a Chase at 118-30 Queens Boulevard. On February 26, he hit a North Fork Bank at 107-18 Continental Avenue; in March he robbed a Sovereign and Queens County Savings Bank, both in Astoria. And on April 16, the suspect targeted the Sovereign Bank at 37-10 Broadway, which he robbed again on September 24.
