Whitestone Vols collect toys

The Whitestone Community Volunteer Ambulance Service collected piles of presents for needy children, and on Wednesday, December 19, Certified First Responder Eric Howard, EMT John Reyes and Vice President Herb Klein Piles (left to right) posed for a photo with a few of the action figures, games and stuffed animals.
Klein estimated that the group - with the help of Holy Trinity Parish Catholic School in Whitestone - amassed between 75 and 100 toys for the tots. Officials from the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve were scheduled to pick up all of the loot on Thursday, December 20.
