Cop Commits Suicide

A rookie cop committed suicide inside MacNeil Park in College Point on Monday, February 18.
Thomas Wick, 21, assigned to Jackson Heights’ 115th Precinct, was off-duty when he shot himself. His mother said that he told her he wanted to look for a job before the incident. A weapon was recovered near the body, but it is unclear whether Wick used his NYPD-issued gun.
