A bank robber held up the Roslyn Saving Bank, located at 254-09 Horace Harding Expressway. According to police, the robber entered the bank around 10 a.m. and passed a note to a teller which read, “$10,000 Now.” He then displayed a black and silver handgun and stated, “Now.” The perp, described as a 35-year-old white male, fled with $1,835.
Attempted Home Invasion
An unknown number of perps attempted to forcibly enter the home of a local resident through a side door, but triggered the alarm. They fled through a rear window without taking any property. A witness observed a black and Hispanic male in a bronze four-door sedan waiting in the vicinity, according to police.
