Rudolph Pediatric ER opens

Schneider Children’s Hospital celebrated the opening of the Rudolph Pediatric Emergency Center on June 30 with a ribbon cutting ceremony. It is named in honor of Upper Brookville resident and project contributor Scott Rudolph. The center features 11 state-of-the-art exam rooms.
On hand for the ceremony were Dr. Joy Nagelberg, the hospital’s chief of pediatric emergency medicine; Carolyn Quinn, RN, the associate executive director for patient care services; Eric Chaikin, the associate executive director for operations, hospital executive director and chief of staff Dr. Philip Lanzkowsky; Rudolph, North Shore-LIJ Health System president and CEO Michael Dowling; and Dr. Fredrick Z. Bierman, chairman of pediatrics.
