Pedestrian struck by 18-wheeler

Police say that an 18-wheeler tractor trailer making a turn from Astoria Boulevard onto 46th Street “came into contact” with a woman in her 60s.
When cops arrived on the scene on November 13, they found the unidentified victim unconscious and unresponsive. She was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival. There were no signs of criminality and no summonses issued.
