To celebrate the nation’s 60th anniversary, the Korean Cultural Service NY is presenting a special exhibition in the Visitors Center at Queens Botanical Garden in Flushing.
The exhibit, “Images: Commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Republic of Korea,” through Sunday, November 9.
The display of photographs features images of modern Korea in the areas of diplomacy, security, science, technology, culture and sports.
Visitors can also see the early images of Korea’s turbulent times through the 1950-53 Korean War, Student Revolution of April 1960, and the Military Coup of May 16, 1961.
