Bus driver stabbed

A bus driver was stabbed and her ring was stolen on Wednesday, December 10.
Police responded to Queens Plaza North and 21st Street and found the 30-year-old driver of the Q66, who reported that the suspect, a man in his 30s, was riding the bus when he grabbed a brown bag from her.
A struggle ensued, and the bag fell; the perp then allegedly demanded the driver’s ring and slashed her hand before fleeing. The suspect was taken to Elmhurst General Hospital in stable condition. There have been no arrests made and an investigation is ongoing.
