Josephine Cotugno of Flushing passed away on December 10. She was a dedicated retired teacher who taught for 39 years in the Plainview-Old Bethpage School District. Beloved sister of Carmela Clark, Dominick and Joan Cotugno, Nicholas and Janet Cotugno, Elizabeth Attanasio and Diane and Jim King. Also survived by 10 nieces, one nephew and 14 great nieces and nephews and life-long friend Theresa Kosiczky.
Funeral arrangements were handled by the Martin A. Gleason Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian burial was held at St. Andrew Avellino R.C. Church. Interment took place at Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery.
