Pedestrian struck, killed crossing Woodhaven Blvd.

FOREST HILLS — A 32-year-old woman was killed early Tuesday morning as she was trying to cross Woodhaven Boulevard, police said.

The woman was crossing the street near 62nd Drive around 6:30 a.m. when she was hit by a 2000 Mercedes-Benz that was traveling on the boulevard, according to police. The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The driver of the car remained at the scene and was not charged, according to police.
