Weekend H1N1 flu shots still available

During the following weekends in December, the New York City Health Department will hold H1N1 flu vaccination clinics for individuals meeting certain criteria.

The clinics will be open to pregnant women, those between the ages of four and 24, and individuals who either live with children under six months of age or those who care for them.

Additionally, adults between 25 and 64 will be able to get the vaccination if they have “underlying health conditions that increases risk of severe illness or complications,” according to the Health Department. These complications include asthma, diabetes, chronic heart and lung conditions, kidney failure and a weakened immune system.

The clinics in Queens are as follows:

? At I.S. 25, 34-65 192nd Street, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, December 12 and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 13. Priority zip codes are 11004, 11005, 11351, 11354, 11355, 11357, 11358, 11359, 11360, 11361, 11362, 11363, 11364, 11365, 11426, and 11427.
