Mice at Ronald McDonald House

Two mice were spotted in Ronald McDonald House of Long Island recently, and nobody called the exterminator.

It was Mickey and Minnie, headlining stars of “Disney on Ice,” who stopped in to the New Hyde Park residence for families who are caring for seriously ill children undergoing medical treatment in area hospitals, on Wednesday, January 6.

While Hollywood’s longest-running romantic couple was posing with excited kids like 12-year-old Cole Massie in this photo, other performers from the show took the time to read the story of The Little Mermaid to the children in attendance.

Since opening in 1986, the house, located on the campus of Schneider Children’s Hospital in New Hyde Park, has served approximately 13,000 families from the United States and more than 80 countries around the world.
