Pianist Geri Allen will perform at the York College Performing Arts Center, located at 94-20 Guy R. Brewer Boulevard in Jamaica, at 8 p.m. on Friday, February 26.
Allen, who is also a composer, has performed in many jazz festivals and has toured in Europe.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.

Peggy Lee Tribute

Vocalist Diane Hoffman will perform a tribute to singer/songwriter Peggy Lee at the Whitestone Library, located at 151-10 14th Road, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 27.

‘Borges & Piazzolla’
Thalia Spanish Theatre
Saturday, February 27

At 8 p.m. on Saturday, February 27, “Borges & Piazzolla Tango” will be presented at the Thalia Spanish Theatre, which is located at 41-17 Greenpoint Avenue in Sunnyside.
The musical is “based on the collaboration between writer Jorge Luis Borges and composer Aster Piazzolla,” according to the theater’s web site.
Maestro Raul Jaurena and the show’s stars will be around after the performance to mingle with audience members while refreshments are served.
Tickets cost $50.

‘Keep Dancing’
Kupferberg Center for the Arts

“Keep Dancing: An Afternoon with Marge Champion and Donald Saddler” will be shown at the Kupferberg Center for the Arts at Queens College, located at 65-30 Kissena Boulevard in Flushing, at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 28.
Phillip Harwood, the film historian of the Queens College Lifelong Learning Institute, will host the screening of the documentary. The filmmakers, Champion and Saddler will give remarks during a reception afterwards.
Tickets are $25 or $23 for seniors and those with a Queens College ID.
