Marcelo Moreno, 23, was charged with assault and weapon possession, the DA said. He was released on his own recognizance and ordered to return April 20.
At 2:45 a.m. March 7, Moreno was drinking at the club at 38-19 69th St., described by New York magazine as catering to “young guayabera- and Western-shirt-clad men, middle-aged gringos on the prowl, settled-down couples eager to salsa, and immaculately groomed twentysomethings resembling misplaced East Villagers.”
A dispute allegedly ended with Moreno breaking his mug over the other man’s head, causing cuts and bruises, the DA said.
